Dear Parents and a Future Champion:

 

Let me introduce myself.  Who I am, and where I come from? 

 

I was born in then-communist Czechoslovakia. My dream of playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs was born when a member of our friend's family came to visit from Canada. He showed me a book of Canada and this is when I fell in love with Canada and saw the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey players for the first time. I knew then, that I was once going to wear the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey jersey. 

 

Growing up as a young hockey player in a communist country taught me a lot about commitment, trust, fair play and emotional and physical fitness. Living in the communist control system, which took away many of the personal freedoms; like freedom of speech,  freedom to travel, freedom to believe in what you choose to believe, freedom to become who you want to be and where you want to live. I had to learn the power of believing in my own innate ability, focusing on a dream to accomplish anything that I set my heart on. I learned to never give up.

 

Being the best you can be is not an easy goal. It takes hard work, dedication and commitment to a dream. I believe that I understand the hurdles that must be cleared to take a path towards a goal, and through my dedication, I am determined to empower each and every student  to believe that he - or she - can do anything they set their minds to. Your child will know this as my student.

 

Empowering and teaching young people has always been my life’s passion.

 

Over the past 28 years I have trained thousands of young hockey players in Canada, USA and Europe, many of whom play or have played in the OHL, AHL, NHL, KHL or received scholarships from the major USA Colleges and Universities. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience and, above all, the desire to make the difference and commitment to provide world-class instruction to each and every student aspiring to advance  their hockey career with quality training that will last past their days on the rink – that will endure for a lifetime.

 

 

I am grateful for being able to have helped so many of my students to enhance their lives  and to all my instructors, who worked for me and believed in me over the years. Many of them are today operating their own hockey schools. Without their caring personalities and their commitment to excellence  we would  have not reached the recognition of being the leader in European and North American Hockey instruction. I have created many training techniques, methods, programs and systems that are currently being used by many hockey schools. It makes me feel amazing to know that my technical system continues to improve the way this great game is being played.

 

I am dedicated to providing the professional training and instruction for the serious hockey athlete to turn his/her total attention to fine-tuning their talents, learning new skills, erasing bad habits and working towards the goal of being the best he or she can be.
