The  NHLP  offers the total progressive  on-ice and off-ice teaching programs designed to teach and help coaches to understand the proper skating and hockey skills techniques and how to teach and evaluate the players on their team.

 

The evaluation of individual player techniques and their game play analyses is one of the most important skills your coaches must master. The evaluation helps your players to understand their strengths and specific individual skill and game performance needs. The individual player evaluation helps your coaches to create a progressive customized development program catering to each players' personal developmental needs and to achieve each players' personal goals. The players must improve to achieve a higher level of play and their next achievement level.

 

Another key point to the evaluation, is to post the criteria of technical skills excellence expectation standard and what the NHLP is looking for in a complete hockey player. The coaches and parents can also see and be educated in what the players are being evaluated on. These criteria must be clearly defined, objectively assessed and justifiable.

The evidence is compelling: these don’t happen by accident, they happen by design – a system that can be replicated because it is imbedded very deep in the human DNA; it just has to be accessed.

 

But accessing this “Source Code of Synergy” is not easy because it can be blocked by a myriad of factors, much like a swamp is the result of a river that gets blocked by too many obstacles and impediments. Robert Porter Lynch is widely regarded as one of the leading experts in the field of strategic alliances and collaborative innovation. Robert also established joint labor-management committees to improve labor productivity in both the private and public sectors. When interest rates were 18-20% in 1981, Robert became a Development Banker, founding a Certified Development Company, which resulted in over $20 million in small business loans in the first 18 months, as well as a state program to use $10 million in public sector pension funds to underwrite small business loans.

 

 

 

 

 

Consulting

In his consulting practice, Mr. Lynch places a strong emphasis on using best-practice architectures for successful strategic implementation and building capability inside organizations. He and his team helped build alliances for scores of companies throughout the globe in a wide variety industries ranging from aerospace (aviation & defense), automotive, energy, construction, financial services (banking, real estate, insurance), high tech (computers, electronics, telecommunications,) and medical (biotech, heath care, instrumentation, pharmaceutical, managed health care), and petro-chemicals. Served as officer or on the board of directors of more than twenty not-for-profit civic organizations. He has been a consultant to several Canadian Provincial and Federal Ministries as well as Crown Corporations.

Mr. Lynch wrote the award winning book, The Practical Guide to Joint Ventures and Corporate Alliances (John Wiley & Sons, 1987), the best selling alliance book, Business Alliances: The Hidden Competitive Weapon, (John Wiley & Sons, 1993), Alliance Best Practices (3 editions, ASAP 1998-2013) and the popular chapter Fostering Champions for Peter Drucker’s Leader of the Future book (1999). He recently finished Cooperative Entrepreneurship, and a six-volume set: Cracking the Synergy Source Code AND Trusted to Lead, The Science and Strategy of Building Trust.

 

Education

He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Brown University. He is an adjunct faculty member of the Universities of Albert, British Columbia, and San Diego; and has served as a faculty member of the American Management Association, American College of Physician Executives, the Canadian Management Centre and the Institute for International Learning.
